Hey guys,

Originally I had recommended the website below. They are out right now, but they
sell Aloe polyphylla for $6. You might want to wach for it there, it would be
cheaper. Of course, it may be a smaller plant too!

ah yes, it says they are 4" wide and 4" high, still a big savings, and a steal
compared to $75 for that extra inch I think :)

Not Alan, but it has finally started to swirl (with a little imagination). It
has also reached to cover the top of a one gallon pot. At least it hasn't
died (as yet). My other succulents, purchased at the same time have grown
side-shoots (pups), but not this Aloe. About once or twice a month I will
say an incantation over it, but to no avail. Threats don't work either. So
back to waiting!

Thanks Glenn. Do you think, based on its performance so far, that the plant
is worth the money and effort? They are awfully pretty.

That's a good question. It defintely is not a plant to give you a fast
reward. It also was easy care this past year. I potted it into a one gallon
plastic pot, stuck an Agriform tablet beside it & only watered it about once
every two weeks during the hot summer. It has been watered only twice since
Thanksgiving. At this point I'm not giving or throwing it away. Just being
patient. Not sure I would spend the $75.00 again tho. At my age I'm
beginning to look for faster results instead of planting for future
generations. When I bought the 5 Orchid Cactus last spring I expected to wait
a year to see some bloom, so if no bloom this spring, then out they go. I'd
rather spend the money on Roses.
