
Some time ago, I recall that someone posted a formula for a mixture to =
brush on the outside of terra cotta pots to encourage an "aged" look. =
The mixture also would make moss grow on the outside of the pot. As I =
recall, one of the ingredients was milk. If anyone has that formula, can =

I mix with a blender, some yoghurt and moss, and then dab it on the pot.
leave in the shade in a damp place if possible or mist once in awhile.
Works well. Don't pulp it

Hmm, never heard that yogurt would work, interesting -- I was taught to use
buttermilk and moss mixture.
