Does anyone have a source book that would indicate a source for white
cyclamens? Or has anyone recently bought white cyclamens? From what
source? TIA, Margaret L

Margaret, I have about a dozen white cyclamens. I purchased them (and
about a dozen reds) last fall at one of the local, family owned
nurseries, and while I don't have a source, I might be able to find
out if you'd like me to check. They've done very well, and are still
covered with blooms. I have them in a raised bed and mulched with
pinestraw. I planted them very high, with about half the corm above
ground. Now that it's getting hot, I'm moving them to a raised bed in
the shade. I don't know if they'll make it through the summer here,
but i hope so. I've really become fond of them.

I assume you mean hardy cyclamen? Like C. coum or hederifolium? I have a
plant locator that gives a few west coast sources for these, mostly very
small specialty nurseries. I bought mine at an Arboretum plant sale many
years ago.......whites seem particularly tricky to find. Let me know if
you would like the details.

The seed was available from Parkseed. I got pink, but white was also
available.
