Anne, Bayleton is a product of the Bayer Chemical Corporation. The active
ingredient is triadimefon, which is a triazole type fungicide. Bayleton is
labelled for the control of a wide range of fungal diseases of both lawns
and ornamentals. Bayleton is a systemic fungicide and gives you the ability
to control and prevent many important fungal diseases.
Bayleton is labelled for the following types of diseases:
flower blights, leaf spots, powdery mildews, and rusts. There is a wide
range of flowers, shrubs and trees on the label. The mixing rates will
depend on the specific disease to be controlled. I would suggest contacting
the Bayer Corporation Specialty Products Division at (800) 842-8020 and
request a new label. Bayleton carries a "Caution" signal word which
signifies a relatively low toxicity classification. The acute oral toxicity
varies, depending on the test animal used, between an LD/50 of 2900 and 3600
mg/kg. The acute dermal LD50 is greater than 5000 mg/kg.

Many thanks to Kay Lancaster, Dick Tripp and Robert Stewart for helping me
with directions for my fungicide. I called the manufacturer today and they
were very helpful. I would have to live to be 300 to use it all at the rate I
need it.
