Talking of Bonsai...I tried it and still have a couple of trees making =
there way to the Bonsai..I plant most from seed...... does it really take =
5 to 6 years before one can strt training them from seed?
I love gardeing myself now I wat to try this venus fly trap I am still =
trying to find out how it is grown...

For formal bonsai, yes. I tend toward 'informal bonsai and training can be
done anytime it needs doing. This year I have a 5 yr. old ginkgo and a 4 yr.
old 18" beech that I need to put in smaller pots. These were started as
seedlings and I am excited about this major step happening because they are
the first seedlings I have attempted bonsai with.
