Have you ever wondered why there are so few adder snakes?
It seems that when the animals were getting off the ark after
the big flood, all the animals were instructed to go forth
and multiply. The adders looked up sorrowfully and said
"We can't. We're adders."

Yes, but Noah, being very wise, cut down some trees and he taught the adders
to multiply using a log table.
